Here’s a list of regular service activities that are currently offered by the Center.
- Collection drive for families in need in Forsyth County: Books for all ages, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, cereal, empty laundry detergent Bottles, dog and cat food. These items can be dropped off at the center on Saturdays and will be given to “Meals by Grace” for distribution to families identified as in need.
- Meals packing and/or delivery for families in need in Forsyth County: Food preparation/packing at 1 pm; Meal delivery at 2:30 pm on Sundays at Midway Church, Alpharetta.
- Monthly group seva at “Save the Horses”, a No Kill Shelter for abandoned, abused, neglected horses and other farm animals: Volunteers help with barn chores and help socialize the animals. Volunteer are also allowed to feed treats (sliced apples and mini carrots) to the animals.
- Monthly group seva for the homeless living under bridges in Downtown Atlanta: Volunteers prepare and pack a brown bag meal, drive to downtown to distribute winter/summer care items and set up tents for the homeless.
